Clean Air Campaign

Keyed to extensive historical research, this campaign commemorated the creation of the nation’s first air pollution control program by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors in 1947.

The campaign increased public understanding of the significant strides made to cut smog and helped rally public support for the work that remained to be done.

Materials included a press kit, travelling exhibit series and collateral. A press event was held at the site of Los Angeles’ first smog monitoring station.

Creative concepts, photo research, copy writing and project management. Jean Young Art direction: Studio M. Team lead: Bill Kelly. Team members: Lisha Smith, Claudia Keith, Sam Atwood, Tina Cherry.
